Recurring billing is a sales technique widely used by companies selling products or services. It consists in asking the Internet user to subscribe to a subscription contract for a given service. The advantages of such a system are numerous. Invoicing is automated and forward-looking, saving money on bank and tax charges.

NOTE: Invoices do not have to be created in advance. Invoice numbers should be assigned in chronological order.

How do I create a recurring or forecast invoice?

Go to Settings menu -> Configurations-> Cron Job

Create a new invoice from the main recurring invoice only if the main invoice has paid status?

If this field is set to No, the recurring invoice does not have paid status, the new invoice will not be created

Create a recurring invoice
When you add/edit an invoice, you have the option to set this invoice as recurring.

This means that the invoice will be recreated automatically based on your recurring invoice setup (every X months). You can set recurring from 1 month to 12 months or select custom to suit your needs.

How are recurring days calculated?

The date on which the invoice must be recreated (renewed) is calculated from the invoice date.

Dates in examples are displayed in Ymd format.

Case in point 1:

The invoice date is XXXX-08-17
The recurrence is every 1 month
The invoice will be recreated (renewed) on XXXX-09-17
Example 2:

The invoice date is XXXX-03-01
The recurrence is every month
The invoice will be recreated (renewed) on XXXX-04-01

When the invoices of this invoice will be generated, you will have an overview of the invoices generated from this invoice. See image below.
