How to invoice a project

Regarding the invoicing of a project it is recommended to do it from the project area via the button Invoice the project at the top right in the project, to keep track of all invoices created for the project in question.

  3. All timesheets individually – Applied to all task billable timesheets –  (Not applied if Billing Type is Fixed Cost)

Tasks that will be billed

With Djaboo, you have the possibility to choose the tasks to be invoiced during the invoicing of the project.

To see the tasks that will be billed, click  See the tasks that will be invoiced on this invoice , you can adjust according to your needs.

If the task is not complete when you click See the tasks that will be on this invoice on the right side you can see a message Not Completed. Another message is automatically added there in red if the task has no timer, but you want to charge the task.

Tasks with a future start date cannot be invoiced.

In fact, they can if you check them out. By default, tasks with a future start date will not be checked, which makes sense.

Remarks #

  • All billed tasks will be marked as complete (if tasks found are not completed) – No notification sent to assigned staff members.
  • Once the task is invoiced, you can no longer start timers or invoice the task again . If it is necessary to invoice again, you must recreate the task.
  • If the customer has set a different currency, the default project currency will be the customer's currency.
