You can use a credit note to cancel an invoice or refund a purchase. However, a credit cannot be used to purchase goods or services. Sometimes merchants offer a credit as a discount, for example, a single-use gift card. Credits are usually issued by merchants, but they can also come from other providers.

Djaboo allows companies to issue quotes, transform them into invoices and send them to their customers with a single click. In the event of an error or a customer return, it is also possible to create a global credit note, i.e. for the entire invoice. Here are the steps to follow:
- See you in “Sales" Then, "Invoices” and click on the invoice you want to convert into a credit note
- Then click on the blue pen to the right of the service.
- On the service popup, you have two options:
- Either in the field “Quantity” add the sign (-). Example for a quantity of 3, write -3 and Save.
- Either in the field “Amount excluding tax” add the sign (-). Example for an amount of 100 €, write -100 € and Save.

- See you in “Sales" Then, "Invoices” and click on the invoice you want to convert into a credit note
- Then click on “Add a service“, selected the service(s) appearing in the invoice.
- Then click on the blue pen to the right of the service you just added.
- On the service popup, add “Avoir” at the beginning of the service title, then you have two options:
- Either in the field “Quantity” add the sign (-). Example for a quantity of 3, write -3 and Save.
- Either in the field “Amount excluding tax” add the sign (-). Example for an amount of 100 €, write -100 € and Save.
