The intra-community VAT number (called CIV, or “VAT ID”) is an identification number necessary for companies registered in the European Union when carrying out commercial transactions with other EU member states. This number is issued by the country where the company is domiciled at the time of registration or declaration of activity.

1. See you in “Settings"->"Finance"->"Taxes".
2. Click on the “Add tax".
3. Name the VAT you want to add: Call VAT 20% for example
4. Then add the VAT percentage for our example: 20.
