To configure email templates, go to Settings -> Email Templates  and edit the content according to your needs.

You can configure a general electronic signature in Settings-> Configuration-> Email,  This signature will be used on all emails representing your business.

All email templates will be sent from the general email configured in Settings-> Settings->Email.

How does multilingual work for email templates? #

  • Customer 1 has English language
  • The customer  2 has the French language

When an email template will be sent to client  1 , the content will be extracted from the email template English , for staff client  2 , the content will be extracted from the email template French.

The same procedure is applied for staff members.

When sending an email template to the manager Example: proposal, the system default language will be used.

What will happen if the email template content is empty and the user uses this language? #

If the template content is empty for a specific language that is not the default system language, the email template content will be taken from the default system language setting in Configuration->Settings->Localization. Make sure to always fill in the default system language template.

The system will automatically cycle through the languages ​​used in the system based on staff and customers when you navigate to edit a specific email template.

Disable email templates #

Open the email template and check le disabled field . If the disabled field is checked, this email will never be sent.

Example . If you want to disable sending a welcome email when creating a contact, go to Settings ->Email templates and search for the model with the name:  New customer added/registered (welcome email), check the disabled box and save.
