The time sheet in Djaboo

Table of contents

The timesheet allows you to have an overall view over the period of your choice of the time spent by each person (i.e. each collaborator who is assigned to a project) on a given project. So you don't have to enter each project or each task individually, and can have an overview of the time spent by yourself and your collaborators!

How does it work? #

When you or a collaborator indicate time spent on a project, you can either enter the time directly in a task, or directly in Projects. The timesheet allows you to have a clear summary month by month and for each user of the time spent on each project.

Project timesheets are all timers started for tasks related to a specific project.

To view all timesheets for a project while viewing the project, click the tab Timesheets in the project concerned.

You can view and sort all running or stopped stopwatches, all timesheets are linked to staff member and task.

Add a new timesheet manually

While you are in the timesheets, follow the steps:

  • Click on the button Timesheet
  • Select the start time and end time from the calendar.
  • Select the task to which this timesheet will be linked.
  • Select a staff member
    • By default, the logged in user will be automatically selected
    • If the user does not have permission for EDIT or CREATE projects, only the logged in user will be available to select as timesheet staff from the drop down list

Thus, by selecting a collaborator and a project in the year, you will be able to view all the projects in which he participates as a contributor, as well as the time spent on each project. In addition, the total number of hours spent on all projects is automatically calculated at the bottom of the table.
