Add a new customer in djaboo

Log in to the dashboard, click on customers and on the left side there is a button Add a customer.

  • Permissions – What authorization will this customer have in the customer portal. For example, if you disable the help desk system, the customer will not be able to use the help desk system. While in the piping will be able to use it.
  • Billing and Shipping – This information is used for invoices/quotes. If your customer has a different shipping address for the invoice, you will also need to fill in the shipping fields which will also be automatically included when creating a new invoice.
  • Advanced options – As advanced options are listed in several fields.
    • Groups – Sort your customers into groups after which you can also generate reports by groups and see which groups of customers are the most valuable.
    • Currency – If this currency is not the system default currency when you add an estimate/invoice and select the customer, the currency will automatically change based on what is selected in this field. NOTE : You will not be able to change custom currency if transactions are found.
    • Language – If you have multiple languages, you can easily change the client's language. So when the client logs in and configures a different language, the system defaults everything will be translated based on your translation for that language.
    • By default, all customer PDF data generated from the admin area is generated in the system default language. If you want to generate in the client's language, you can easily access Configuration->Settings->Location and define  Output customer PDF documents from admin area in customer language on Yes

Fill in all the necessary data and click on Save .
You can also choose if you want to send the welcome customer email template which is configured in the Settings -> Email Templates menu in the customers part.

Now your customer can connect to the customer area from the url your-company.djaboo.app/customers/login
